Yeah, I stopped reporting stuff like this last year.
For the same reasons: it takes them six to eight weeks, on average, to react/actually do something.
By then it hardly matters anymore.
What is unteresting: his first two threads got locked at some point.
But then they (aka: the one guy active in the forum) apparently threw up his arms and gave up.

and in reality you sleep in prison the same day.. then get to stand in court for damage to property.

I generally agree, though I avoid HP and Dell for laptops I have had terrible luck with anything dell, but had better luck with lenovo and asus tops lasting me years, my last laptop to die is more due to PEBKAC then any fault in the laptop itself but thats usually how most of my pcs have died is due to PEBKAC. but yeah I think its just some companies rush their designs to market, but I rarely buy cutting edge laptops, I tend to target the last generation, as while I do game, I dont game with anything that demanding and I am fine with reducing details to get a decent framerate the last super demanding game I played was ironically cyberpunk my last laptop chocked a bit with that one, but I usually just played Doom Eternal so.

Well, in my experience drawing any kind of attention to something like that gets you banned for "attacking" the user in question, so... uhm... XeonicDevil sure is a swell guy!

i see this on steam where moderation is handled by bots.. your barely breaking a rule but you are reported in such mass you may as well never speak again.
i often wonder if it's just.. how the money flows.
at some point support does not even care if you are right or wrong.

But if you do make too many threads in short amount of time, then it will be seen as spamming. Take the hint from this heer and Steam, and just slow down a bit.

Don't smoke in front of the computer. I sometimes vape in front of the computer, and I haven't seen any residue in the fans, like you would get from tobacco smoke.
