Maybe it's not lame, but go back in time to 1999 (when Heroes 3: Armageddon's Blade was in development) and make original plans (the "Evil" Armageddon's Blade) as a 7th campaign, with Forge town as a reality (without scrapping the Conflux in "Good" Armageddon's Blade).

On the other hand, maybe this is lame, because NWC/3DO likely won't listen to me.

HunchBluntley: or would he just let it happen because it was a future version of himself doing the shoving? XD
I expect the phrase "I am you from the future!" to become highly popular among homosexual rapists soon.

Tricksy!

I went to an open lecture on time travel once, given by an astrophysics and relativity professor. There was some fairly dry theory involving infinite masses distorting spacetime. But, a large assortment of local wacks showed up and made it awesome. Yoga instructors stood up and offered explanations, complete with full-color maps of time they had made. Various other lurkers also advanced their own theories and experiences, and one tried to recruit fellow travelers. The prof was super toIerant, and I could see he was entertained. I chatted with some of them afterwards, and whoa were they thrilled to have the attention. I wish I'd thought to photograph some of the maps at the time.

From what I've gathered watching the Science Channel and such, your leading scientist like Hawking and others fully admit that time travel is 'technically' possible but that the resources it would take to accomplish make it virtually impossible.

I hold ignorant secret hopes that we'll someday be able to send something massless like information back in time. This would require a receiver of sorts, which explains why we haven't gotten any messages yet. We won't see any til we've built it.

jdsgn: Sleep as long as you want, then travel back in time so you never miss something.
thats a very good use of a time machine :D

a nice adaption would be to make the TM work all the time in real-time:

make it so that the time that passes by is 60 times longer then the real time

mork from mork and mindy was training in a sort of alternate time, it looked like he was very slow or so but he trainded for hours and onl missed a few minutes in earth time :D

Now that would be profitable for yourself.
You design cool stuff that will make you gazilliionaire, this would take maybe 40 years but now its done in 40 seconds, cause when you come back to the real time , only 40 seconds have passed, ofcourse you didnot grow older (40 seconds only) cause for the earth people it took only 40 seconds but you did work that would have costed 40 years.
That would be intresting.
Doing this right, you would kinda live forever.

Actually, it is only possible into the future. You just need to apply a proper Lorentz transformation on yourself by means of a fancy space ship.
I've been thinking about the problems of time travel, and then something occurred to me. By taking advantage of time dilation, it is possible to travel into the future by traveling at near light speed in a spaceship. It is conceivable that such a space ship could be built. So it's possible to travel forwards in time. What about visiting the past, you might ask. Simple – use the same spaceship, but hit the reverse and go backwards!

That's nothing. I can travel into the future just by browsing the interwebz. Pretty fast too. I've skipped entire days already.
Go back and kill the Heads of Government as they were born, until a good one come along.

(Shit) I'd be there forever..:-)
I'd go back to capture two dodos and ask my GF to cook them. The second one is just in case she blows it the first time.
