Sercet Files 2 (2008) PC Game had a plot element to blow up La Palma Island,
causing it to break aprt and create a huge tidal wave that would
wipe out the East Coast of the USA.

Now La Palma Island volcano is erupting in real life and of course the
news is hyping that if the island breaks off, it will cause a huge Tsumami
wave reaching to the East Coast of the USA.

Also there were some documentaries in the past about the potential dangers if the eruption were extremely explosive. But honestly I believe it should involve a giantic submarne eruption of a newer volcano and or tremors, or a total explosion of the island.

Anyway about the Secret Files 2 plot, some days ago the Cabildo of La Palma (Governor) gave the idea of bombimg with military planes the Lava Flows to lead them at "will"

Reality surpasses fiction, bizarre ideas are free. :)
