Unreal. Kobe, his 13 yo daughter, and Rick Fox and his kid, all died in the crash when going to a travel basketball game in his private helo.
Jesus, I'm not a basketball fan but this still hits me a little bit. What a tragedy. He had 40 years or more of retirement to look forward to! Jesus...

Nick Fox & his kids are still alive(they weren't on the helo)....still, a sad day for a good number of people. =================================

Why do you call him Nick Fox? His name is in the article you linked. And I saw later that that was mistakenly reported. Sorry for the misinformation.
Kobe Bryant was such a great baller. My 2 memories of him are the Lakers-Magic 2009 finals series and his final game when he hilariously and fittingly scored 60 point. The daughter Gianna that passed away alongside him was a true fan of basketball and has been groomed to became a great basketballer by Kobe personally, but sadly it would never come true in this life. RIP
