Now you lost me. I thought you were suggesting that people could make accounts only when making a first time purchase, in a attempt to keep the scammers out of the forum. Which, as I mentioned, could be bypassed by making a free game order.

I think this whole mess calls for the MAFIA PLAYERS team :-).

Using their deductive powers of reasoning, and attention to details, they might very well elude the mistery to whom wakalo might be :-)

On a more serious note, If rep points aren't enough of a garantee for you lot I would advise in the meantime every member to trust the former participants in Mafia games up till now to trade with them (Mafia games on the forum demand a lot of investment and is pretty much a garantee of being a person trustworthy)

I'd probably post a list of every participant in former mafia games if it wasn't tedious. The list would be big and exhaustive I believe, mind you.

You can activate games through your steam community profile? Or is it a multiplayer thing? This is a legitimate question, not me doubting you.

It took me a while to figure that out also with Steam. XD I don't remember that option when creating.

I created the account originally through steam that came through the disc which was Star trek d-a-c and set it up through that making a normal steam account, must have missed setting the custom url up then - just went to my edit profile settings and noticed that empty - hope that answered it

You have got to be kidding. If mafia participation was an indicator for trading, i'd get no trades what-so-ever. It was a disaster.

I'm sorry to former members that i messed it up. But thats in the past.

The mere fact that one participated.... proves that one's intent are more than just game snitching, and one feels as being part of a community.

I guess. Besides, i was thinking earlier that just responding and taking part in conversation is what makes these forums what they are, and so there doesn't have to be giveaways for it to work here.

Trading is another issue/problem, but as i said earlier, most traders have traded before in the classifieds thread, and have their own knowledge of who has traded with them successfully.

Just like we traded without a problem.
