SirPrimalform: That's like complaining you didn't get presents at Christmas from people who don't know you. No one has any obligation to give you anything.
avatar
langurmonkey: WRONG. That is like saying someone is being unreasonable because everyone got presents except you because the person giving out the presents has known you for less than 4 months. Me finding it unreasonable does not = me thinking people should give me stuff. How many more times do I have to explain this...
What are you going to do? People are worried and concerned because of this scammer.
What's your solution? I know it's not fair, but hey, so is life.
We really need a mod to tell people to calm down.

I think he just wants people to understand the point he's making that's all and some are missing it, in the end the rep thing is restrictive and unfair in his opinion and only puts a gap between people even decent people and it will only work for a time till scammers work past it but i dunno my head hurts from all of the reading :P

The mods only intervene when there are personal insults to be honest.

What a shame. We could use this. This is not GOG.com, this is flamewar.com.

GOG needs to make it so in order to make an account, you have to give up a credit card number or something like that. The problem is it is too easy for people to make an account here.

Apart from people losing their games in trading. But there's nothing the mods can do about it.

And what does that have to do with anything gameon?

These scammers are obviously messed up people who have a hatred of paying for games. No matter how much GOG user security there is, these scammers will still have a hatred of paying for games. I'm sure in time, they will find a way to scam again, even if they have to put 4 months effort into appearing reputable...
