Fairfox: op wut do you think of slammin' toilet lids?
What a coincidence. Just today, I printed this picture at the work:
https://www.google.fi/search?q=close+toilet+lid&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwidjPeH4q3bAhXD16QKHcvAC7UQ_AUICigB&biw=1536&bih=747&dpr=1.25#imgrc=wHQbUIbhaZU1UM:
On the picture I wrote "Please close the toilet lid after use!", and the same in Finnish.
The reason is that when some friends of my wife come to visit us and use our toilets, they ALWAYS leave the lid up. What the heck is with that? Anyway, I will hang that printed picture and text inside both toilet doors, HOPEFULLY I start seeing closed toilet lids later on.
And no I don't care if they slam the lids, AS LONG AS THEY CLOSE THEM! Sheesh. The toilet lids and seats at our home are cheap flimsy plastic ones anyway, they don't make much of a sound no matter how hard you slam them. I guess it is different if you have a toilet lid/seat made out of marble, ivory or gold.
If the friends of my wife still fail to close the lid, I will install damn springs on the lids so that they will always shut themselves after use. Now that I think about that, that is probably a great business idea, hmmm... Maybe I should file a patent for it.
As for the OP's question about Kingpin, unless it is related to toilet lids, sorry I don't think I can help this time.
