krugos2: I doubt there will be new levels produced for this game, since the developers have moved on to other projects. Two games have been released since Origins: Iron Marines and KR Vengeance (the developers have said they've been working on a PC version for this one, but last time I checked there still was no release date announced.)
As for similar games, not sure if you already played the whole Kingdom Rush series and the other unrelated game by the same developers:

Here on GOG there are other tower defense games, but none that I think may be similar to KR other than in the most basic genre mechanics.
On Steam you can find a game called Evil Defenders which is similar to KR, it's not as good, but it's still fun.
