Elmofongo: They tackle many genres. This is just one of many.
Yeah, the KI soundtrack is considered to be pretty solid, especially when compared to most of its peers.

Tends to run a bit too heavy for my tastes these days (used to be my kind of thing), but it does a good job at being what it is trying to be.

Klumpen0815: Deliberately breaking compatibility to Win7/8 to coerce people into "upgrading". There is no technical reason for this.
This is a DirectX11 game since it was written for the XBone from what I gathered.

nightcraw1er.488: Deliberately breaking compatabilty, wouldn't be a first. Halo 2 I have never got to play - Vista only and I wouldn't even infect an image with that OS.

As for this game, never heard of the series, looks all flashy with lots of pretty shaders, so no loss from my side.
used to be a nintendo platform series
killer instinct was a break out title for the snes because of the pre rendered graphics

gameplay was ...ehhh
shallow

not as awfull and wooden as mortal kombat but too over reliant on ridicilous combo's

killer instinct gold was one of the few beat em ups for the n64 and its been dormant untill it got necromanced for the xbox one

omega64: Halo 2 works on Windows 7 at least.
How? I saw something some months back that was editing registry entries and such like, and just thought bollocks to that.

Nope, I just installed it on Windows 7 and it worked. This was like 4 years ago but still. O_o
The only real issue is it running on Games for Windows Live, you can just make a local account though. Problem solved.

low rated
ahahahah

it's finally the time that also some window$ users fells what Linux users felt for years, unable to play games or run software not because of the OS capability but because of some M$ restrictions (like DirectX)

can't wait to pirate it (as it will probably be unaccessible to non w$10 users) and play it through WINE when DX11 will be fully compatible.

welcome to the beautiful Micro$oft world win 7 and 8 lovers :)

expect some more bullshit...

Bullshit like people barging they are going to pirate games? Down rated for being a duchbag with no clue.
Windows Store. Just no...Seriously, no!
Remember that time when M$ wanted people to upgrade to Vista so people could play a buggy version of Halo 2? Or that time they wanted people to pay a subscription fee to play multiplayer on Windows Live?

How did that turned out for them?

Oh I don't know. Everyone could use some new double glazing at some point.

But in true heroic fashion they plough on regardless. Or could that be repeat mistakes of the past, never sure :o)

Won't be first instinct or the last one Windows10 gets.
So, I installed it between yesterday and today. Windows Store is criminally awful. T_T

It gave no indication of download speed, I had no idea where it was installing the game, it would often clearly stop downloading despite saying otherwise... I eventually gave up and tried again today early in the morning. It finally finished downloading.

Played a bit of the game, seems a bit slow, but I need to do a proper check before taking any conclusions. It's a hundred BR-bucks to unlock everything. Hardly ideal, but not the worst price possible nowadays. I'm yet to decide if I'm going to spend money on it.

How awful is Windows Store compared to Games for Windows Live?

You download the game and then it works. On slower connections the download may be finicky,. That's just about it.
Also, hard to navigate...

In all honesty I never used GfWL in this way, so I can't say I can compare.
