KiNgBrAdLeY7: Inferno, the fire elemental man you mean? What a killer! Had great combos, this one!
That is indeed him. I meant cinder, sorry.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Killer instinct for Snes and N64 were pretty good in their own. And retro always has a unique charm.

Now, windows 10 and DX 12 are a little beyond what i can afford. Maybe won't be able to try it for a very long time...

I hope it has spinal. Favorite character of mine...
As far as wikipedia information goes, only Tusk and Kim Wu from KI2/Gold are missing so far (besides Gargos and Eyedol, of course). The rest of the old cast is all back.

I'm actually glad the game is coming to PC, despite MS's artificially restricting it to Win 10 as usual with their (generally pathetic) PC attempts.

Let's just hope they don't tie it to some abhorrent sort of Games for Windows Live rebirth thingy.

Omen is sort of the pelacement for Gargos.

And well....no one liked Eyedol.

Hope a season 4 does appears.

"Killer Instinct launched with the Xbox One in 2013, as a free-to-play game with microtransactions. Free players could choose a single, rotating free fighter, and players could purchase additional fighters outright. Its been adding new fighters since then, and will currently set you back $40 to unlock all of the released fighters.

We're assuming it will work more or less the same way on PC."[/i]

why should anyone who isn't a sucker give a flying fuck?

Because they do eventually release whole seasons.

And they will continue to do so. Stop acting like a hipster. I for one am willing to purchase to purchase all the fighters. (Getting this on Xbox One when both seasons releases.)

It's not like that microtransaction abomination that is Dungeon Keeper Mobile.

Or Final Fantasy All the Bravest.
The mandatory system updates has really put me off Windows 10 for the time being, so I'm in no rush to upgrade. Certainly not for a rare-less KI reboot that's clearly using forced obsolescence like Halo 2 to bribe people over.

stg83: but really glad to see Gears of War Ultimate edition coming to PC as its the only Xbox exclusive I have ever been interested in having played the original on PC before.
You can already play the old PC disc version of Gears 1 in 1080p/60.... I wish they'd just bring over the far superior sequel.

2 had the BEST campaign. AWESOME setpieces that makes COD and Uncharted look like it has TV show budget than a Movie budget.

Gears 3 has the best Horde mode (essnetially hold your ground against Waves of enemies.) Which has base building such as wall fortifications and turrets and a final boss fight.

I know, but it was really buggy on PC and we never got the sequel but I take the release of this ultimate edition as a good sign that they will bring the sequel to PC as well at some point.

I never really got into the multiplayer mode in any of the games but I adored both Gears 2 & 3's campaigns, easily some of my favourite action games of the generation.

Y'know, I never really hit much of the buggy-ness with my copy of Gears, the only thing I had issue was with it initially overwriting and breaking GFWL install with it's older version, a quick reinstall of 3.5 and the game ran without a hitch on all three systems I've had.

I had a lot of problems back then like constant game crashes on my system and don't know how I even managed to finish it with all the issues. Also its more fun to play the campaign in co-op which I didn't get a chance to do on my playthrough.
Well, Killer Instinct is out now, Windows 10 only.
So should I download it, knowing that I'll be playing as a free fighter, or should I pass on it? The other thing that troubles me is that it seems to ask for 30GBs right off the bat in the requirements, and Windows Store says it's approximately 21.7GBs large.

Windows 10 exclusive although written for the DirectX11 Box (XBox One)?

Mwahaha...

M$ is just pathetic at this point.
All those artificial restrictions and blocked compatibilities just to force people into using a product that obviously isn't good or needed enough to let people get it out of their own free will.
