Okay, in for the second row of my tablet-related question!

I live and work in Japan, so I bought a Samsung android tablet here, which obviously came with native support for english and japanese languages only.

But I'm french, and sometimes I need to write something in French, with all the funny accents and so on. So, I installed a keyboard app with multi language support and it works just fine.

The problem is, you know how it is, it's at least for me never as easy with a soft on-screen keyboard as with a real keyboard.

So, when I went back to France for summer vacations, I bought a small bluetooth keyboard for tablets. It pairs perfectly with my tablet, but of course, it isn't recognized as a french keyboard and just gives me an english layout...

Is there any way I could make my japanese tablet accept french language and thus my french keyboard?

Isn't there already a Choose Input Method in tablets?
Google keyboard should work with it.
^ Second the suggestion for Google keyboard (Samsung's isn't very good I suspect, especially when using physical input).

You should also be able to go into Settings -> Languages & Input -> Languages and add French as an additional device language.
Your questions are like those from boxed party games of questions setting up worst possible scenarios and asking party goers to convincingly choose to accept any of the worst outcomes.

First you say you bought a tablet computer that doesn't meet you needs, and that you weren't surprised by that. In essence, you did it on purpose!
Then you say you bought a keyboard that doesn't meet your needs to go along with the tablet, after traveling halfway around the globe. On purpose!
And you say it all works perfectly fine, both individually and together, even though it still doesn't meet your needs. In my opinion, you even managed to not sound delusional about it.

If you were me, I think at this point you would likely set both out on the curb and hope they crawl off to a good home. I think I would head to the mountains far away from any store that could possibly sell me anything more like those. Forget technology, that's what I'd do in your circumstance.

In the mean time, you've already wished for advice about a web browser (supporting Flash?!) for that tablet, and now you're asking about this. I'm much more worried about your third wish, because I'm very certain that it should be about how to manage your finances with more appropriate purchase decisions (and travel expenses for purchases!?) rather than anything more about these past expenses.

OTOH, considering that you have admitted all of this is so you can have something to do with your down-time (while working?! Wow, what an amazing job!), it seems to me you are severely blessed with a lot of time of on your hands. Congratulations, and I'm jealous. Wishing you good luck seems too redundant, you're obviously drowning in it.

Well, I wish it could be so. But please know that when I'm at work and have no classes (I'm teaching french), I don't get paid. So why staying at work then? Because simply the commuting from home to work would cost me more time and money and that would be really stupid.

tl;dr> when at work and no class, no pay. No can go back home between the classes, too far and too expensive.

Fro your other remarks, I opened a thread to ask answers on specific questions, not to ask about your opinion. You offer only your opinion and no answer and you expect I welcome them? Ha!

Unfortunately no, it doesn't give me the opportunity to add a language...
