Pay for Dragon Age Inquisition for three physical discs for 70 sterling that implement ... for a long time. Not even a basic booklet included, btw.
Immediately it leads unto 2-3 patch download upfront. And then to another... or another. And never is Inquisition a proper PC game, but a day zero console port, all those patches later.
I think it was better indeed when gaming discs were supposed to be a proper, playable release.
I have a mid-range internet, which I still find quite expensive, really. At lower speed all this would have been even worse.
Those "ten years on" four Larian discs sort of imply to me that rather than assuming infra-unlimited fans, design for your fans, already! And story before infra, please.
