I've been noticing for a while now that he/she is always trying to answer to the easiest to the hardest support kind questions around this forum and try to, in a serious way, give directions to users (old or new) the way he/she can.

This thread is just created to appreciate this good behaviour publicly as I believe that this is one of the good ways of spreading good deeds - recognizing them in public!

Thank you Ice_Mage!

(This is by no means meant to sound as if other users should not deserve the same public appreciation, so, thank you all anyways!)
You are right. Good points! Very often when I open a thread to read it, there's Ice_Mage having provided a solution about different subjects!
And why not be the next Community Giveaway manager, when BenKii retires (in 9-10 years)!

.Keys: Thank you Ice_Mage!
The above says it all.......our local blue wizard has often been very kind and helpful, and i'm also glad they're around :)
Thanks Ice_Mage
I'd like to join the above users in commending and thanking Ice_Mage for his helpful contribution to the forum.
I've been noticing for a while that he very often comes up with clear, exhaustive instructions whenever a doubt, a request for clarification or some technical difficulty is expressed in a thread, especially by newcomers.
I frequently give his posts a +1, for what it's worth.
Of course there are other users whose inputs I especially value.
BTW welcome bak GamezRanker!
I'd also like to join in and thank Ice_Mage.

As nice an good as this thread is, I'm pretty sure it's against the forum rules to make posts about a single individual.

What, why?

That's What the moderators said recently when they closed another thread about an individual

That's harsh. I wonder whether or not it breaks any rules from Code of Conduct (probably not?) or it's something else.

But seriously I think one way is to discuss a user in a *bad way* and another to praise user's great work for community. I hardly see it being a problem here.

Ice_Mage helped me 2 or 3 times and I rarely ask anything. So he is a very promiment user of GOG community.

It's not allowed to single out an individual and praise 'em, you bastards! :P How shameful. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. I think it should pass muster, albeit the title could have been a bit more covert, just to play it safe.

I hope so. Ice Mage deserves praise and credit for his work.
While there's lots of users that I can name in an appreciation thread, Ice_Mage really does deserves a special place and his own special appreciation thread. I've noticed that he answers a lot of questions and tirelessly responds to anyone frustrated with the chat bot as to how to actually get into contact with support.
Ice_Mage really deserves our acknowledgements : him/her helped lot of us, both with GOG forum usage (I really hate it, its showing its age), support and Galaxy.
I would also like to thank ice_mage for creating the thread about all the different issues GOG is having these days, bringing all of them to the rest of the community, by also finally complaining about the mess they did.
