You should remove the reference in your post where you downloaded the file.

Ignore the other files in the .zip-file and use the CD image (.bin/.cue-files) to install the game as described in the posts above. This should be faster than finding the problem.

I loved this game, even though it proved too difficult to play for me as a child. Despite the awkward interface, due to the lack of loading screens and obvious invisible borders limiting the game world, the game did impart a sense of embarking upon a grand adventure, capturing the same essence of FotR that I had read just a year before playing the game.
low rated

The best LOTR-based game was the Shadow of Mordor. I enjoyed playing it, but still, the movies were much better and more enjoyable. Even the Hobbit movie was good, in my opinion. A lot of people hated it because there are characters like Tauriel who weren't in the book. I didn't mind it because she had a great role in the movie. You can see all about her on https://www.thetolkienforum.com/wiki/Tauriel However, the LOTR trilogy was better. Those movies are the best movies ever made, and the book is even better. Anyone who didn't read the book should read it because you get a lot of new information.
