Why drop codes where literally anyone including scammers and bots can pick it up?

Why not let people do what they wish with a game,instead of making it a crime?

Not making it a crime, just asking him to think about it a little bit. If they choose to still do it, that's on them. I'm not compelling the op to do anything. Just like I don't attempt to compel you to do anything. I would personally rather codes not be dropped openly. It's not a forum rule, and I'm just making the OP aware that open code dropping leads to parasites, much like dropping food on the floor of your kitchen leads to pests. If, after being made aware the OP still doesn't care, then a mild amount of harassment in the form of "that causes annoyances" is all they will get from me. I won't follow them around and downvote them or shitpost repeatedly on their topics, because I'm not a dick. Or Tiny E.

It's a public forum. I could easily say the same about you minding your own business otherwise. I don't because it's public business. I interjected my opinion, and then you interjected yours. It's how a forum works. Yet, you want to, from the position of correcting me, tell me I should not "correct" others. Hypocrisy is a terribly flimsy platform from which to discuss.
