You guys have never heard of Joe Rogan..? He's a comedian-turned-commentator for UFC, who now does a conservative podcast.
He used to host the US show fear factor.

Thanks for the suggestion, I would have missed it otherwise. John Carmack might be one of the most interesting people to listen to, his passion and knowledge always shines through. The interviewer can come completely unprepared and ask something vague and Carmack can go on for hours if he has to.

Disagree with the description - he has a wide variety of guests on, including Bernie Sanders - but everything else is true.

I've no idea what UFC is either. Utah Fried Chicken? We're not all from the US you know, and not all of american popular culture and all american celebrities are known worldwide.

What are the subjects they are talking about?

mostly VR from what I've heard (unfortunately imo, but I guess you can get most info about id software's early days from "Masters of Doom"), but Carmack does talk some about Doom/Quake/id software some, mainly in the first 30 min I think. (that being said I've only listened to about 90 min). Aside from that there's a lot of tech talk (duh, I guess) and some business talk.

This thread or Rogan's subreddit might have more info, or the YouTube comments too.

True, but this is the age of the internet, and people from other countries can and DO find out about other country's stuff more easily than before.
