Tyrrhia: • Recent Steam discussion: Again, they seem to want to release it on GOG, but their last post hints at some hindrances out of their power—lawyers of Nicalis.
That last comment is just a few days old and sounds like the game is still coming here. I'll stay optimistic. :)astrugar710

I liked the first game quite a bit and would love to see the second one here too. Didn't even know it was out until I saw this post. Sucks that it only came out on Steam and I hope that it will show up here soon.

Tyrrhia: Well, they just aren’t pro–DRM‐free is all.
Edmund McMillen’s games from before he teamed up with Nicalis for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth are all DRM‐free on Humble, but Rebirth isn’t. And the only DRM‐free Nicalis‐published game on Humble is Cave Story+, which is from a few years ago.
Ludosity, the company behind the Ittle Dew series, self‐published the first game on GOG day‐one (I think?). (Card City Nights took more than a year and a half to arrive, but perhaps the low price was an issue for GOG?) So, you’d think they would be inclined to release the second game here, too . . . and they are, according to some links I just found:
• Facebook post from about three months ago (it’s hidden in the only comment; I don’t know if it’s shown by default): They seem very enthused about the idea of releasing it on GOG.
• Recent Steam discussion: Again, they seem to want to release it on GOG, but their last post hints at some hindrances out of their power—lawyers of Nicalis.
So, yeah. Also, the last three games they’ve developed (Rebirth and its two expansions, Afterbirth and Afterbirth+) were so bug‐ridden at release that they left many wondering how they got past the QA phase—if there even was a QA phase. Though most of the bugs were fixed in the first few days and weeks, thankfully.
I still love their games, though. I would really like to see them on GOG and would totally buy them again.
(Rant. Composing this on a phone, using proper punctuation and formatting, has been a real nightmare. Ugh. Never again! Would not recommend! Phones suck!)

Though I love the way he put things, I'd have never thought that lawyers measuring dicks is something that instils optimism in people.

I wonder if the delay isn't just for bringing Ittle Dew 2 here, but the rest of the Nicalis and Team Meat catalog as well. Cave Story+, The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth, 1001 Spikes, Super Meat Boy, Creepy Castle, etc.

You’re welcome!
Oh, so that’s what they were saying. That makes sense. I’m so bad at figuring out “bad words” just by knowing their lengths (pun non‐intended :P ).
Don’t get us all wet, now. ;P
