And that’s also not the end of the good new – we’re happy to announce that Endzone 2, a post-apocalyptic survival colony builder, is now available in early access on GOG! For this occasion, we’ve prepared a special interview with the creators that you can check out HERE.

Back to School Sale ends on September 10th, 1 PM UTC. Check it out!
Just installed and started the game (Tropico 4) and it appears that Modern Times expansion is included! I could start the Modern Times campaign and everything appears to be there, which is weird since it’s listed under the DLCs sold separately.

I tried to start it, but without success. I am returned to main menu after loading screen. Based on GoG DB, nothing changed recently game is in the same version (1.06.345) since May 2018.

Weird, because Modern Times works for me and i did not buy or installed the DLCs.

In the game folder under dlc there are two files:

Update 1.hpk

and

Expansion.hpk (which i presume it's the Modern Times expansion)

kai2: GOG is teaching me how to lower expectations.
avatar
Memecchi: Basically don't expect anything from unless there's a major sale going on (summer, winter) and you'll be surprised when the occasional surprise/deep discount drops
Yeah, I'm just chaffing under the monotony of the prices and the games on offer. Keeps feeling like good games are getting "lost" in the GOG library. Oh well. ;)

I just got an e-mail to warn me about the sale ending soon. Problem is, I am not subscribed to any such e-mails.

So please, don’t. If you keep sending unsolicited e-mails I am simply going to mark all GOG e-mails as spam, as I would no longer be able to trust you not to abuse the address linked with my GOG account.

Came here looking for answers since I am in the same situation. I am unsubscribed from all Gog notifications and still received the back to school ad email. This is straight up a violation of GDPR not to mention a complete breach of trust. Gog throwing away all their good will for a shitty promotion spam, guess they're desperate for money so they start showing their true colors. Good job Gog!

In the past they got a lot of complaints that they don't do enough to inform users of sales that are ending, not saying it justifies it but at the same time this is kind of making a mountain out of a molehill since you just need to hit one button to delete it.

You might be OK with spam. I am not.

Maybe you forgot to unsusbcribe, just in case, if you claimed the last giveaway in the sale.

Or maybe it is a bug or a conspiracy.
