a new expansion to an old game?:O why?
Sound like fun. To bad I'm not finished playing the main game yet. Seems like this Jeremy Frutkin need to proofread his texts better :D

"It is worth nothing that in order to play Fallout: The Frontier"

Orkhepaj: why?
Because it's one of the best (real) RPGs ever been created.

It's an unofficial expansion/mod. Bethesda isn't releasing a new expansion for Fallout New Vegas - although I would buy it in a heartbeat if they did.

because people love the game as is?
its why people still make stuff for doom/heretic/hexen etc.

Because there are mechanical differences from fallout nv to 4, for example. Plus this allows to use existing assets and character stats from the base game.

Maybe they wanted the challenge of working with the old gamebryo

umm..... it is a fan made mod....
I'm impressed by the physics of the vehicles. Never thought the NV engine would be able to simulate that kind of physics - kudos to the modders. Looking forward to this, thank you fr33kSh0w2012!

graphics only mean so much to people for some they like the graphics of new vegas, I still love the graphics of the original doom to this day and still play it looking how it did in 1993
Favorite game of all time, and it doesn't need to be modernized! Cool to know that people are still playing and enjoying it (besides just me). Most curious if this mod is available outside of Scheme ecosystem, i.e. will it be on moddb or Nexus?

I think it will be? but I am not sure yet.
Maybe we should get these guys to work on the vehicle mechanics in CP 2077 ;-)
