The Blue check marks seem to have stopped working again on my end. Several of my games have been updated without the blue dots showing up. Is anyone else having this issue?

This is the status quo for something over a week now.

I'm positive it took month for them to fix it last time. :(

I sent email in last week. Guessing that GOG at least knows about it.

Right now I would say use https://www.gogdb.org/changelog to track games being update.

Be what it may, I don't think the onus is on the end user to notice when a tooling machine inside the Ford Factory in Michigan is on the blink, when one happens to live in Southeast Texas. Besides that, how is anything to be fixed without a foreman?

You know their answer:
1) Use Galaxy and you won't have to worry about blue dots.
2) Log a ticket, if you insist on using offline installers.

Exactly. If GOG still in any way wants to pretend that it loves its community, then spotting one of many comments across multiple social media platforms regarding problems (like poor CDN download speeds and notification flags not working) should be enough to warrant investigation.

If something going wrong widespread has to be officially reported via a clunky support ticket system to get noticed, then GOG is more royally effed than we think.

Right, so I'll use something which doesn't exist for the platform I use, and I'll waste their time by logging an issue that they're already quite well aware of.

Now, I'm not a PR type, (I loathe marketing, advertisements, and most people facing positions), but I would be frank in a situation like this: List out the lay of the issues on GOG, and offer game bounties for anyone willing and/or able to provide in the code of their choosing solutions to many of the problems.

If script kids using javascript can improve the website's layout for free, I imagine there's actual programmers who'd love free games, too.

I'm just relaying the message. People often like to report issues on forums or the Discord, where some staff hang out sometimes. Whenever some issues is posted, unless it's a really big emergency, the answer is always "log a ticket".

And speaking of that, I've logged a ticket myself now.
