Hi,

I live in the Isle of Man and while it's not technically part of the UK the currency is sterling not USD, is this likely to change?

Hello. I'm a bit confused by your wording. Do you mean to say that the prices are not in sterling for you, or that the prices are in sterling, but you want to change it to USD? If it's the latter, then you can change your currency to USD by going to your Account, "Orders and Settings", "Account and Locale", and there you should find an option to change your currency.

I see. It's possible that GOG's IP locator doesn't consider the Isle of Man as part of the UK. My advice would be to contact support (choose "Other" as the problem type) and ask them whether this is intended or an error.
Is there a reason by the way for not being able to select EUR or GBP outside of Europe/UK? It bugs me when I'm abroad and have only USD to choose.

Thanks although I suspect it's intended as I get the same with Origin, Steam however shows sterling.
Wouldn't US prices be cheaper?

Kinda weird - so theres no other currency option at all?!

I know some people were having a bug after the recent site changes where (i think) under your account and on the page it showed the wrong currency, but would show it correctly at checkout. Might be a related bug.
What's "Man currency" and why do you love it?

He... he...

...that joke really doesn't work in written form, does it?
I'm sorry.

No. GOG uses mean exchange rates, updated regularly.

At times either way could be slightly cheaper, but... what you save/lose due to the deviation from the mean exchange rate becomes irrelevant when you consider what your bank charges you for using a foreign currency.

I hear it doesn't use a print or a press, but instead punches the ink onto the paper and then sprays on a finishing coat of beer.
