Oh please.... don't remind me about that... the worst purchase I've made ever! And it only gets worse, because I was given the opportunity to listen to it before the purchase but I said "Nah, it has to be good".. I should have bought the other album I was holding in my hands instead of this shit, but I was curious to listen to Metallica right away.. fragging curiosity..

Oh, by the way, I absolutely LOVE "Load" album... can't say the same about ReLoad though..

Just stick to the first 5 albums+Death Magnetic.

Load and ReLoad also suck. Its just not Metallica.

But than again Metallica fans are the kind of fans thinks Metallica is the only Thrash Metal band.

As for Death Magnetic, I'm not so sure.. I was pleasantly surprised when I first listened to it (well, it didn't suck), but generally I find it mediocre and to be honest, I can't find anything that'll make me go back to it. It just failed to keep me interested after a few (15?) listenings..

Regarding Load, I'll have to agree that it's not Metallica. It's just the guys from Metallica experimenting with something different. Yep, experimenting.. they even cut their hair and wore eyeliner, ha! All in all, a personal favourite album with 11 great songs (yep, eleven, I've never liked the last 3 songs..) and an album that shouldn't be compared to Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets & ..and Justice because its just something different, completely different music!

Jason Newsted was the first to cut his hair, and this was still during the Black Album tours.

As to experiamenting with other kinds of music, Motorhead is the most varied in musical styles and they are still Motorhead.
