LoL I don't miss those days too much. But I had fun.
In Jr High School I intercepted a couple mags my Dad had intended to throw out. When I was bored with them I took em to school looking for someone to trade with... a skin mag operation had begun. I told kids how to look for their Dads toss-out hiding places. They'd get bored of theirs and trade em in. For some kids I'd cut out advert pages to give them in the hopes they'd come back for the real deal. LoL I was a porn pusher in Jr High. I never thought of it that way till now.
Skin mags get old after time. My customers were more than happy to trade two of theirs for one of mine. For some, like Cheri, OUI and Hustler, I'd get more. Most of what I traded would get traded back to me. I didn't deal in sticky pages and had to educate a few customers on that. But there were enough good ones coming through that I did pretty good. Personally I grew bored of the mags afterwhile, but the business was good. I traded for all sorts of things, and of course took cash.
By the time we returned for a last year in Jr High, I'd found a MILF running a liquor store that would let me buy them there. I bought old issues by the 5 pack. With the occasional hardcore special. Things picked up big time then. But I got narked out eventually. Fortunately I was cautious and had only three soft core in my own locker (gave other guys free mags for use of their lockers.) I had everyones combos and made trades after school and off campus. But after getting narked out I slowed down and eventually stopped.
Only to soon after start selling black cat firecrackers! I got narked on that to. That pretty much ended my foray into the blackmarket. Was fun and I earned pretty well. Was mowing lawns for money at the time as well. But it was the mags and black cats that earned me best. Hah what a time. I've changed. Though pron still helps me get my rocks off from time to time.

Therefore while the site may be benign in its intentions, if there's a new vulnerability in Flash Player (which does happen from time to time - time being in minutes), a video could be uploaded with a malicious payload that would go straight through their filters, and straight through your unpatched flash player.
So you're never completely safe with such sites, keeping flash up to date is a must.

Short answer is Xhamster IS NOT SAFE. X-hamster is infested with spam and virus.
One visit got me 400 porn spam emails a day. Microsoft Security Essentials also picked up a virus when I searched for "brazzers", too late it seems, which messed my Thunderbird email folders.
If you have to visit, use a virtual machine.
Anyone who says X-hamster, X-videos or Pornhub is safe is full of shit.
