Guidelines on reviews now?

That is how it started over at steam....
Steam disliked the fact people left negative reviews warning about buying games.

Take SpaceKat the crazy SJW that is famous for being a he/she with more mental issues than Jeffery Dahmer
What the wiki won't say about Brianna Wu is she was born man got millions from folks went broke created a game mocking people with depression. Nor will it mention that Brianna's husband is a child pedo , married a 15 year old child and beat her... before marrying Brianna.

GOG use to not give a crap one way or another about SJW's...
It was a buisness that wanted people to buy the games THEY wanted.

Fast forward today...
"Avoid politics and drama: let the game stand on its own merits."
"Critique responsibly: it's positive or don't post, A great review should be positive and informative."

O this isn't steam yet?
Damn near.

I can start voting with my pocket book...
Fairly sure GOG will die out quick if their goal is to mimick steam SJW

Yep that's some quality thought restricting pro-censorship SJW nazi fascism, just like steam(?)

Those three guidelines all sound reasonable to me. I have no problems with these; hopefully it'll stem the tide of "OMG more than $5.99, I'm buying on steam" and "doesn't work, but I can't be bothered to contact support, so gog is a scam" rubbish we get.

Rotten Tomatoes should start censoring their movie reviews too.

Cause that would be completely reasonable.

The politics of you not liking a actor , director is reasonable to any review.
Why should it not be so for other products?

Cause reasons?

I think it is. I wanted to play Tyrian just now and I had to turn on my computer to do it.

That's pretty much the same exact thing as turning on my computer, logging on, going to the Steam page, going to the login page, logging in, waiting for server to activate, finding the game, starting it, playing for 30 seconds, losing my internet connection, getting it back twenty minutes later, starting the whole ordeal over from scratch.

Actually, I've played that game without my computer; the source port OpenTyrian has been ported to systems like the Dingoo A320. No x86 computer needed to play!

Is this like in Spaceballs when they watch the movie before it's done being made?

If you don't like an actor or director or developer you could state so in your review and explain how it impacts the game. If you just don't like something because of the worldview of who created it... it could be you're an sjw.

Actually, no; there's no self-reference here. Tyrian (the game) does not exist within the world of the game Tyrian. (Now Tyrian (the planet) *does* exist, and is in fact where the first level takes place, but that's another story.)

(With that in mind. I recommend reading the data cubes; some of them are quite funny. There is some fourth wall breaking; one early cube, for example, mentions something about a "registered version", a concept that has no meaning within the game world.)

While I have never personally argued or had an encounter with SpaceKat and I havent 100 percent agreed with her opinions.

It is fucking WRONG to accuse someone of having mental issues just because someone is transgender, that is rude and uncalled for.
Adding section about Brianna Wu (obviously someone else you have issues with) is also pretty fucking low, Brianna has done some shady stuff, but trying to compare SpaceKat to her is also just as fucking low.

You are also BENDING gog's guidelines to match your own poltical agenda here:
—Critique responsibly: whether it's positive or negative, a great review should be helpful and informative.

it never once said and I am quoting here: "Critique responsibly: it's positive or don't post, A great review should be positive and informative."

I personally hope you leave and never fucking come back, vote with your wallet all you want.
and bullshit reviews still get posted to steam regardless of their guidelines, you just wanted to show up and start a fight with SpaceKat.

At the rate he was going I was expecting him to next start blaming Barack Obama for GOG's review policy.

I couldn't have put it better myself. I've always thought that "the S acronym" says way, way more about who uses it than about to whom it is directed.

I would expect you to be mad at the world for being three foot tall and unable to see cause of those slanty eyes?
