Despite the glowing reviews I have seen other reviews saying its has lots of game breaking bugs like Corrupt Save Files and Crashes and the like.

But either way this game interest me so.

Fantasy, Epic Classical Music, Dwarves, Orcs, Magic.

I dig this shit no matter how derivitive and un-original it is.

But anyway is this game worth it to anyone who beaten it?

Probably because most people were expecting something more along the lines of Dwarf Fortress and not what appears to be yet another RTS.

If that were true, I doubt the devs of that game would've instituted an indefinite discount that they've occasionally increased since about September. ;)

I guess people just buy We Are the Dwarves for the (high) discount, and play other games. :-P
I myself bought it when it was 81% off, and did not find time to play it yet.

I haven't played the game (and have no intention of) but the books it is based on are the biggest load of drivel I've ever read. That's probably an unpopular opinion because they are inexplicably well liked and reviewed but they are truly awful and even my love of all things dwarven couldn't get me to pick up the game.
Get We Are The Dwarves instead, no idea if it's any better but at least it's quite cheap (usually)

"We Are the Dwarves" is just an ARPG and its reviews are so-so.
"The Dwarves" seems an RTS and looks quite cool, instead. Still very expensive, however.

Ah, I liked the first (translated) book, instead (regarding its entertainment value).
The other ones are still ok, but they have some plot problems and fail at introducing interesting new races.
The fourth one, then, is quite grim..

Just really generic fantasy cliches. Heroes who slay whole armies, near invincible evil guy who still manages to be defeated, I just found the whole series very boring and unoriginal.

The second reply in that thread about 300+ pages squeezed into three hours of game time doesn't sound great either.
Watched a YouTube series and it lasted about 9 hours. Doesn't seem to have any replay value either.
