This is no longer possible due to the disabling of the reputation system, or at least the negative vote. So we can no longer report spam via that feature. No idea how we would report spam now tbh. Send them an email? Then they look at it and possibly remove it 5 weeks down the line?

I don't use Discord, actively dislike it, so no I do not hang around there.

My interest in ZOOM Platform, is purely DRM-Free games that either don't exist at GOG or are cheaper than at GOG ... that last bold bit being something I have never seen.

I ignore all the banter and politics, and don't feel the need to take sides. I am all about the games and not the nonsense, regardless of who says it.

I could probably buy more games at ZOOM Platform, but their pricing prevents me.

Of course it has, and your post is just another example. You are attacking the OP, because of his stance on ZP and because he doesn't do what you and some others think he should. You might call it 'calling out', while I see it for what it is, 'ganging up'. It wasn't sufficient to do it just in the Zoom Platform thread, now you have to do it here too.

You could just ignore the OP, no skin off your nose, but you deliberately choose not to, and that says it all. And none of me saying that, means I support the OP, I am just pointing out what is blatantly obvious, regardless of whether he should have made this thread or not, and frankly GOG at times are indeed contradictory, which is the only reason I first participated in this thread.

Did you also report yourself because you yourself violated GOG CoC's with the OP of this thread, which is a thinly-veiled attempt on your part to violate GOG's CoC terms of "do not make posts which publicly question moderating decisions."

This whole OP of this thread is doing exactly that: you are publicly questioning the GOG moderators' decision to close the Zoom Platform thread, your act of doing which is itself the biggest violation of GOG's CoC in this whole entire thread.

Also, it's technically not possible to "hijack" a thread which is entirely invalid in the first place, since the OP inherently violates GOG's CoC.

I'm not really taking sides, but Zoom needs to be called out.

Everyone seems to be giving a resaonble reply to why they disagree with what T4T and ZOOM are doing. This dose not come off as ganging up. Want to see real ganging up?

In my opinion this thread should be no concern to you. Because you're here only for the games. I understand you want both stores to coexist, I do too.. but one of the DRM free stores dose not want that to happen. I'm not even exaggerating.

That's not correct.

On the contrary: the original boycott was itself broad right from the start, with the original/real premise being that any GOG user is free to boycott GOG and join that all-purpose, all-encompassing, highly general boycott thread, for whatever reason(s) that they personally, as individuals, want to boycott GOG for.

Then, years later, T4T took it upon himself to take control of the boycott thread and retroactively change the purpose of the boycott to include only the two reasons that he himself personally wants to boycott GOG over, and to exclude all other reasons from all other users who want to boycott GOG over different and/or additional reasons, even though those other reasons had already been included in the boycott from the beginning, and which were the reason that many people signed up to it in the first place.

But you are correct that he did indeed alienate a lot of boycotters when he co-opted and re-purposed the boycott thread, over the objections of many boycotters who do not approve of nor consent to that re-purposing.
