Since last profiles/privacy update I do not get any red notifications when I am quoted - is that me only?

EDIT: It seems that GOG's changed notification system (now it's purple dot beside "Community") but it does not display on browser tab as well as it was in the past, so it's much worse... :/ Please GOG, revert this change.

They changed it, forum notification are now a little purple dot in the "community" menu and no longer part of the standard notification bell.

It's a pity - I loved the bell for forum notifications.

And that "purple dot" does not display itself on firefox tab now.... Do I need to open GOG tab to see it?

Strange I use Firefox (59.0.2 64bits) and I see it. You need to open the community menu.

They were trying to see in how many ways can they screw up in one day.

Yes, I see this dot but ONLY if I switch to GOG's tab.

When I'm in other Firefox tab (like using DuckDuckGo) I will not be notified.
Previous notification was displayed on Firefox page tab and was visible every time, no matter what I was doing. I do not mind, they can introduce new things but this previous notification was so useful for me, current one "does not work so good"... ech.... :/

I was wondering about this, too. I thought for sure someone probably replied to me the other day in the one thread, but I didn't care enough to manually check.

What does the dot purple exactly mean? When I clicked it, I couldn't find where someone had quoted/replied to me. It just showed the usual list of threads I have started, none of which had new replies.

Normally it tells you that somebody quoted / answered you. It doesn't bring you to the post in question sadly but should at least tell you in which thread it was.

If I have purple dot by Community then I have also:

<purple dot> by Community -> <purple dot> by Forum Replies (in menu) -> list of topics, some of them have <silver arrow> which means they have reply/replies to my post(s). Yes, it was also more visible.
