So I want to buy a gift for my brother, but I want to send it to him on December 24 night, is there a way to do this or it's better if I send it to myself and then give him the code?

The only way to do this is to send the code to yourself and then send it to him on Dec. 24th.
You can't time them. So just send it to yourself and forward it on 24th :-)
There is an option to buy as a gift. (gift this order) Send it to yourself and you will receive a key.
I tried to time a gift to my dad once, didn't work.

Fucking thing blew up before he even got in the car.
A gift is not sent to a GOG account, but to an e-mail address.

Pondering that, you figure out that what is simply sent to an e-mail address can in no way be directly locked to a GOG account.

And since you figured that out, you also quickly realise that you can simply send the gift to yourself and then give it to your brother whenever and however you wish.

.

Print the code out, write a nice letter on what to do with it, and put the whole shebang in an envelope and wish him merry Christmas.

That's why you connect it to the ignition, not a timer. Though the recent remote start cars do make that annoying...
Ignition and weight in the driver's seat, that's the key.

Wait, what are we talking about again?
Send the gift to yourself, set up mail server, write a script, timely delivery ensured, geek inside happy.

Or just write a bot that logs in to GOG and buys the correct gift for the correct person at the correct time.

I would suggest that you have the bot check the price, and if it's too high, refuse to purchase the gift.

Even then, I would be careful because a bug here could cost you real life money.

Are... are you saying there are people without infinite money? I've had like 12 Nigerian princes offer me all their riches.
I mean, I have like 1.2¢ on my bank account, that's like .1¢ from each of them. I'm rich. Right?

We're talking about doing it old-school. No wires, no switches, plain ol' bat! But I guess tiny loves his dad too much for that.

No, no, no. You got it all wrong. If you love 'em, you get up to 'em close an' personal.

No choice, you gotta buy now. After that the prices go up, up... GOG is kinda like stock market.
Buy it on the 24th and enter your brother's e-mail address as the giftee? After all, GOG's not closed on the 24th...
