Strijkbout: This game was worth 40 squids when it was new.
Your sentence can be understood both ways:
1.
This game was worth 40 squids when it was new, it still is good invested money, because the game's still great. 2.
This game was worth 40 squids when it was new, but this was 22 years ago. They charge way to much for that, considering what is available now, gaming-wise for an equal or even lower price. To add something to the topic: The real question is: Does the remake turn out good and are you okay with paying 3€ less for a bunch of preorder exclusive wallpapers and the promise of said game. If you are not sure, why not wait to see what you're getting into?
Midoryu: Well spoken. May I ask why you own two copies of the game? Does one version provide something the other one doesn't have?
PixelBoy: The LucasArts Archives Vol. III & LucasArts Entertainment Pack.
I don't really remember if there was any difference between those two, probably nothing major anyway.
Thanks for the reply. I was only curious, if there are
hidden features only known to certified insiders that would be important for someone trying to get into the game nowadays. Turns out , there are not.
*phew* Also interesting:
I can't access the
Steam page for the
LucasArts Entertainment Pack.
