Playing the first in the series again and, to my disappointment, I can't seem to find the sequel on here. Will this change in the near future?

That's probably a question or request for EA.
A lot of their games requiring Origin: they've been recently re-released on Steam and still requiring Origin there too. Yeah, I don't think I've seen one recent EA game requiring Origin actually get re-released on GOG without any client-dependencies.

DA2, despite its repetitive dungeons, was a decent game. The cast, art style, and core gameplay loop dragged it out of the monotonous environments.

Are the price differences that huge? i mean 50% discount is 50% right?

As I said it used to be cheaper here on origin (base price) so yes. This happened shortly before EA introduced the games to Steam.

Now you can say the game is still worth the price, but its no longer as cheap as it used to be (discounted or not). Thats my only point.


Edit: Nearly picked it up a couple of years back at 80% off (£2) its now £8 at 60% off. They've doubled the base price and lowered te discounts.

yea... and maybe it will become even worse if the whole of europa is again ticked on the fingers by the usa for not paying enough ... spending enough money on their militaries .... i swear some of those rednecks see that as a green flag to start harassing europeans in their environment ... the new president is also completely for seeing an increase uh i mean europeans not going back on their promises in accord blablabla ( which they are right in of course ... we, the Dutch, have a rightwinged cabinet and even they went cheap on their promise concerning the military )

Not going to lie, this is my favourite Dragon Age game. Not due to the story (plus the game was admit-tingly rushed so has a lot of issues such as the dungeon map usage (and re-usage).

But I just love the characters, the way the game plays out the characters just feel like genuine friends for a game (depending on how you play) and it's fun listening to conversations about dealing with more personal matters rather than major conflicts.

Plus, it's very rare for a game to allow you to play through the whole thing as a sarcastic asshole.

But its DLC's usually aren't super-cheap; they're pretty much the same price at the base-game ($10).

I actually enjoyed it... but... I came to the series 3 , 2, and then 1

All 3 are enjoyable, but are very different in terms of style. I prefer the bright clash that it has.

The game loop is good too. It would definitely belong here.
