thiagodalbo: I really should not need to explain my life to some offended dude on the internet.
muntdefems: You certainly needn't. And I was not offended, although I know my harsh way of expressing myself can give that impression. If anything I was amused at your naïveté for thinking that the prices you see (in USD) are the same everyone gets worldwide. Granted, your regional pricing in Brazil isn't as extreme as the Russians' and their neighbours', but still.
It's human nature, I guess... We tend to take everything we get for granted, and think we're the ones who have it the worst.
man... I don't where did I mention the prices.
I was talking about accessibility to actually buy the games.
I am aware of regional pricing. I noticed that happenS on 'anoThEr digitAl property store'.M
I never felt like buying things from GOG because I have this 'other digital property store' that allows me to pay with reals. Paying with dollars always felt intimidating because of the hassle, conversion fees, and everything when I could just go else where.
I created this topic to express a wish to buy from GOG, and that would be doing so a long time a go if my currency where available.
I don't expect that to happen right away. I am not sure it will ever happen.
Or did you actually mean it won't beneficial to GOG because of the regional pricing...?
It's also not beneficial if people don't want to buy anything from it and go somewhere else where there are regional prices *and* converted prices to real.
I am not sure I am grasping what your point is. Care to explain to this naive foreigner?
I just want the price I see converted in reals. I would have been so much easier and welcome.
Prices were never the case. Prices are fair as they are.
(By the way, GOG managers read these topics?)
