Gnostic: Today I just find that I cannot initiate chat with anyone by hovering my mouse across the user avatar and chat.

I have to go to search my chat history to chat with them, for now users, I cannot chat at all,

I'll also post it here so you don't miss it.

You can always initiate a chat manually by typing:

www.gog.com/u/<username>/chat

substituting <username> with any member's name, case-insensitive.

Still not working.

For user I never chat before i have to use V3 method.

You can always initiate a chat manually by typing:

Great solution. One caveat, though: if a user changed his/her username in the past couple of months, you need to (know and) use the old username, not the new one.

Thanks for the caveat, haven't tried that. Looks like the new username symlinks to the old one, but URL remains the same. Is this specific only to recently changed nicks ie. since the introduction of chat, or was it always like that?

Can't say for sure, but upon further examination my exception seems to have its own exception.

Painted_Doll is still ne_zavarj when it comes to chat/wishlist urls, but GR00T is no longer Coelocanth, just GR00T. And I seem to remember they both changed their usernames no so long ago (around August, I believe).

Go figure.

About tooltip: most probably it will be fixed within next 2 hours.

I believe it is really a problem with the underscore.
LaPtiteBete recently had her username changed to Empress_Owl. And now it is not possible to start conversations with her or view the wishlist. It only works when using her old username.

I can access chat by clicking people from my "Friends" list in Galaxy.

Yeah, I'm getting that too, on everyone. ElT from Germany only sees is for mine and Crow's info. An American problem? (We have lots of those ;-p)

Clicking a name in the Galaxy friends list is the only way I can chat with someone.
