Confirming that the beta downloader worked.

The speed was sluggish (Normally I'm at 20MB/s and that was a download at 30K/s, harking back to the glory dial up days) but the game downloaded without any errors.

So whatever you did with the code in the beta version, you're on the right track.

Apart from that, it's perfectly reasonably to be suggesting material rewards as a means of compensation for disrupted service. If dearest farlark ever went out of his cave, he'd know it's the way business is conducted in this world of ours. Just fucking up and then being all "Sorry, lulz, guess it's a good thing y'all waited for the patch. For a month. Made a mistake (?) and purchased a new game today (The Nations) and I was trying to download it via GOG.com Downloader. It wanted me to update it to a new version and there was no way to close the window: I HAD to click on the "download and install" button. Well, my Trend Micro promptly removed the File Setup_Downloader_3.2.14.exe because "the file contained malicious software, so it has been deleted for your protection." More details? the threat was identified as TROJ_GEN.FC2CKK2

Downloader isn't working for me. It looks like a time out problem. Is there any way you guys can just give us a permanent URL to download these games from and just hide it behind a password? That way we can use FDM and have it restore from the middle if need be.
