Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

jamyskis: How odd. I have Bit.Trip Runner, Braid, the Breach & Clear games, Trine and VVVVV on Steam but not on GOG, but Connect is not picking them up on my Steam account.
Same. I have FTL, Braid, Breach, Saints Row 2 & To the Moon.

Random_Coffee: Hmm.. I get the "No eligible games found"-message, but I have two eligible games on my Steam-account.
Me, too...
Wow.... always hoped GOG would do something like this. Great act of generosity towards the community.
Nice move GOG! I just wish it would get my Steam games correctly. I own The Witcher Enhanced Edition (and even played it!) on Steam, but GOGConnect doesn't find it and claims that I don't have any eligible games. ;(

Luned: And the complaints begin...

haydenaurion: I don't think it's unreasonable for at least a little more time. The "One Steam account only" thing isn't great either.
Proxymoron's post illustrates one reason why it's time-limited.
Wow, this came out of nowhere! Pretty sweet move. Got 6 more games in the library, but I'm sure there'll be more.

I wonder if you can use this info for some kind of market research...
Say, could GOG please check the language aspect of this "GOG connect" page ? Due to me being still in Switzerland, it seems to refuse to display anything else than german (neither my GOG nor my Steam accounts are set to german), and instantaneously switches back to it whenever I select english or french...

Edit : Same goes for the currency. It forbids me to switch to anything else than CHF.

I'm using the Opera browser, in case it plays a role.

Edit : Problem seems solved now.

As said above,

Make sure to refresh *after* you connect your Steam account to see your eligible games.

(the webpage really should've done that on it's own)

...I love you guys. ...In a strictly heterosexual bro love kind of way. Not that there's anything wrong with that! (I wonder how many people will get the reference in this sentence?)

I have Bit.Trip Runner, Braid, FTL and To The Moon on Steam but I still get "No eligible games found" (and yes, already refreshed a couple times)...
Wow.
Thank you GOG.
I take it back.
I take all my bitching about overpriced Braid back!!!
It's a small step of GOG and giant leap for DRM-free revolution!!!

I have same issue with Van Helsing: Final Cut :/

Pheace: You get to uncheck any games before adding them
That's great, in case you want to support the devs you can simply uncheck the game and buy it normally. :)
