UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Success! Refreshed the page again and now it shows 4 games available - had forgotten about VVVVVV so that is absoluteley correct! Yay!

LiefLayer: Well this is a really good thing... but there are many games missing that I really would like to add to gog:
Pillars of Eternity (it was a gift from my brother)
Trine 2 (frozenbyte give me a steam key because mac app store version dlc was broken and their gog keys were unaviable)
Torchlight II (I got the DRM-free humble bundle version before gog release)

Still I hope it will be possible to connect these games in the future
As it was said, that's up to the developers and publishers. One can only hope that people don't blame GOG for games not on the list, especially when they've gone out of their way to give us such a wonderful gift.
IIRC, this had quite some demand, still pretty unexpected. It's an interesting approach to getting more people to spend their money here and grow their GOG collection.

maladr0Id: Hey guys!

Good to see such an overwhelming response to GOG Connect :)

Unfortunately, that also means overwhelming traffic, so if you're experiencing issues, please hang tight and keep checking back for the queue to clear up.
It seems that the increased traffic is causing quite a few problems. Will the event end as planned in spite the issues and delays?

And one more question - is there a schedule as to the rolling out of games? Like a batch per week/ month, or will it be more of a "keep your eyes peeled" thing?
After endless refreshing and the "Couldn't connect to steam server" messages,
I managed to get to the point where it said my account is linked and actually displayed my steam name on the page.
After that it said I had no eligible games, even though I had 5 of them.
Eventually it figured this out after more refreshing.
Clicked add 5 games, cue more spinning loading thingys.
It's still spinning, but after checking my account, the 5 games are there!

Thanks GOG, you guys seriously are the best!

zearid: 11 games found. After I click add - page stuck on search for games and nothing be added to account.

skud79: Same here, at least it proves that it's working. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out before 5 days.

Also getting this message now: "Looking for eligible games. Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience."
Yeah, that's not a good sign. Hopefully, GOG will find a way to either fix this problem, or extend the 5 day deadline for people who cannot get in due to the high traffic. I own almost all the eligible games, and I'd very much rather play them here.

goodold_curly: Does adding them also take time? Because after it found the elegible titles and clicked on add, nothing happened - they weren't added, and it reverted back to the searching phase.
Same here. Found 3 games, hit add 3 games, games disappeared and not in library.

I'm guessing it's more a "keep your eyes peeled" thing, from the looks of the FAQ and other info they have. Lots of deals need to be made with publishers.

IShoot4lolz: Does the opposite also apply for GOG connect? What I mean is can I add my GOG games to my Steam library?
No, GOG is trying to bring people in, not push them towards Steam.
I wish Origin and Uplay get connected to GOG in same way ;)

Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience.
This is not about "patience"! I personally don't mind waiting a few days, but the deal will expire by then! Can I take a rain check?

I also got most of my Steam keys from Humble Bundles. Do those count? Can we buy a game on Steam when we see a GoG deal, or do we have to have it in advance?

It seems humble bundle keys do count.
Almost all, if not all, the games I redeemed came from there
Now to the next step: drm-free offline cloud gaming! :P
This is incredible, a big move to bring steam users to the GOG platform.
Thank you GOG team!. :)

I got this error:

:(
Have they said if once in the queue, you will definitely get the games even if the queue takes longer than 5 days?

I'm totally not a new user ;P
