UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

Gede: I am logged in to GOG and I can see a list of games eligible for GOG Connect, between th the FAQ.

You may take a look at it in the attached file.
Now it shows for me too but before it has not.
I also managed to get the "you have no eligible games" message even though I own Saints Row 1, Tine 1 and To The Moon on Steam. I also bought Trine 1 directly ON steam so at least this one should show. What do I now? Contact support?
YOUR ACCOUNTS ARE BEING CONNECTED

Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience.
Wow, this must mean it's quite the successful campaign. Maybe even a little too successful. :P

Will be interesting to see how this affects the long term growth of gog.

NO PRICK !
PEOPLE WILL BUY CHEAP STEAM KEYS FOR THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND GET A DRM-BULLSHIT FREE CODE !
This is my "Congratulations GOG" post.

I don't have a Steam account, but I think it was a very nice move done by you.

Also, I would like to say to the nice publishers that I appreciate their generosity. I will be adding some of their games to my list as an appreciation gesture.
I don't know what to say... Well. I hope this turns out to work out and be good for everyone.

Also, please convince the idiots called Namco Bandai to participate? And Warn a Bro?

I would connect only if FEAR 3, Batman and Namco's junk of messed up, broken ports for pc, are going to get their own gog version. If not, my Steam account is as good as permanently gifted to someone else...
Process faster we only have 5 days until it turns out we connected accounts for nothing
Will this be expanded to Origin and uPlay, or is it just Steam? And what happens if we own the game on both platforms already?

I fail the see the problem.
This is a 5-days offer. I doubt that these games will be cheaper on Steam during this period.

They've already said that there's a possibility of other publishers or developers getting on board for this. Not like it's a one time thing. Patience is a virtue.

Also consider that this is just as much of a bandwidth hit to Valve as it is to GOG. Two different systems are having to do this, so that is probably also contributing to the slow speeds. Also just the sheer mass of people that are trying to take advantage of the generosity of GOG and the participating developers and publishers.

Heh, maybe I was jumping the gun, looking for bugs like that :)

I see that the devs have added a new message to help us not panic

Great, now it says my account is connected. It also shows my steam avatar and the message "Looking for eligible games. Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience.". However there is no spinning cursor and nothing is happening and no refresh button is there anymore (also the total list of games is gone again). ARGH!

Correct me if I'm wrong, GOG Staff, but I'm sure this'll be taken into account regarding the 5 day limit. If not, no big loss. You still have the games, just only on the one platform that you had them on before.
This sounds a w e s o m e !
Well this is a really good thing... but there are many games missing that I really would like to add to gog:
Pillars of Eternity (it was a gift from my brother)
Trine 2 (frozenbyte give me a steam key because mac app store version dlc was broken and their gog keys were unaviable)
Torchlight II (I got the DRM-free humble bundle version before gog release)

Still I hope it will be possible to connect these games in the future
Does adding them also take time? Because after it found the elegible titles and clicked on add, nothing happened - they weren't added, and it reverted back to the searching phase.
