Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Haha, I knew I should have waited a bit before trying to connect. Will do so again tomorrow! :D
So now that the systems connects to steam perfectly I can see that gog lists only the games that I own on gog but does not recognize the game that I own on Steam.
OMG mine worked. I only had to sacrifice the one goat!
I hate steam, I'm disgusted ;D
Accounts are connected but connecting to Steam Service times out

maladr0Id: Hey guys!

Good to see such an overwhelming response to GOG Connect :)

Unfortunately, that also means overwhelming traffic, so if you're experiencing issues, please hang tight and keep checking back for the queue to clear up.
Given the fact that you have such an avatar I was expecting a very laid off response like "It may or may not be solved in a few hours". I was so dissapointed.

jk
I've been stuck on Looking for eligible games... for quite a while

fearnor_bg: Hello,

I have a question that I couldn't find an answer to. So if I connect my account now and import games if at a later date new games (that I bought in Steam) appear in the list of GOG approved games will they be automatically imported through GOG Connect or I should manually import them?

Thanks!
You have to manually import them. So check often.
5 days better be long enough for the traffic to go through
I salute you GOG and your partners for making this possible!!!!

Porkejukas: Kinda strange that I own couple of games on steam and I should be eligible, but for some reason it says, "NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND". One reason that I can think of is that I brought those games from Humble Bundle and they provide Steam keys.

Does that mean if I brought a game from Humble Bundle which they provided a Steam key and I activated that key on Steam I am not eligible? Does a game was supposed to be brought directly through Steam service?
I had a bunch listed as 'unavailable' BUT with green checkboxes, then a bunch with red x boxes. About an hour later I checked again and it offered ~7 as 'eligible' BUT at that point it didn't seem to work.

Now it's back to 'checking for eligible games'...
Can log in to GOG but clicking the Steam login results in timeout errors. Must be the amount traffic.

BananaJane: What is the downside to connecting your accounts?
It appears to be permanent link. GoG says on the Connect page, "You only get to connect one account, so Choose Wisely" (did anyone else get the image of that 700 year old knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?)
im stuck at "Processing your request"
give us a moment to gather all the necessary info -_-

Same. For about 30 minutes so far...

Is it stuck? Or should I just leave it alone?
