UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
I like this. Once there are more available games I'll be sure to use this. For example, ever since I've been using Win7, my VtM:Bloodlines Steam version doesn't work anymore. Would love to connect in order to get a (hopefully) working GOG copy, and play the game once again.
I was really suprised that GOG would make a thing like that possible. Great suprise.
Its curently not working for me. But i wouldnt expect a big project like this to work flawlessly on the first day.

I can wait a few days till everything is running properly.

Again great idea GOG.
It worked. :) 2 more games. :D
Thank you very much gog! :) And all the publishers/ devs that partake in this promo! ;)

...Now I feel kinda bad though. :/

After the first wave of joy for the future (because I already bought all my Steam games on GoG) I became worried. Because now buying it on Steam is better because I get all the stuff there and here on GoG...

But the reason why I buy games on GoG is to support GoG and their DRM and customer-friendly ways.

So as a promo this is great but I fear a trend of people buying a game on Steam and just waiting to redeem it here on GoG :(

Well it works fine here, so it is not the OS (yes, I'm win 7). In topic, what a surprise and great idea from GOG. Thanks guys!
Nice move GOG :) That will expand my GOG library a bit.
Well GoG, this is absolutely marvellous move from you. Thank you a lot. There is no doubt that this is a big service for user and I’m afraid not a big cash maker for you. In fact, for now, I suppose you don’t have nothing from it. I hope you will harvest a lot from this action in the future.

But let me get this straight – if it’s not permanent, what’s the point then? If you don’t plane to gradually connect these two accounts, what’s the meaning of this? Only time frame promo action for GoG name?

Really, don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful, but don’t see the big picture behind that. It’d make more sense to me to let the chance to transfer games forever and just grow the base of games. Then there won’t be a lot of reasons in the future not to have GoG as a primary account.
I'm getting only "NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND" error message. I have 2000+ games on steam... maybe it's a problem with this "traffic".
i'll try later
This is real cool and hopefully it is a big success.

But man after I pretty much already rebought everything I had, for GoG, which was quite a few games. Oh well, I don't mind supporting GoG.

My biggest wish is we can do multiple accounts or change accounts every time GoG Connect gets reactivated atleast!
I have several accounts on Steam.

I did that for security purposes and categorization. Also, so if I have a lan party or friends over we can all play online if the game needed it. This was all before their family/friends share plan. So a permanent and one account lock hurts.

Come on! (j/k..Though, that would be grand.)
I have been a good little boy and haven't bought from steam since switching to GoG (3 years).

Turjan: I also get the "No eligible games found" message, even though my profile is public. I'm not sure whether account size is a problem. Is there a limit regarding the number of games the tool can search?
I've been wondering that as well.

Could anybody who has managed to get games recognised pipe up with the size of their Steam library?
Mine is 2000+.
YUPYYYYY. Hope there will be more to come. And.... maybe Steam will take notice.
This will be buried, but whatever. This is awesome!

I still can't get it to work. Set my profile to public and still nothing. It just keeps telling me that "WE COULDN'T REACH THE STEAM SERVICE RIGHT NOW.
Please try again later."

I logged out cleared cookies and logged back in and still nothing.
