UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

that's what i get, when i try to sign through steam

ps: great news! Thanks! Much love, GOG! :D
This is awesome, but I wish it also worked in reverse (add my GOG games to Steam).
Aww yes, this is something I've wanted from gog for years. Sadly it seems to not work at the moment.
I have set my profile to public, but the "no eligible games found" issue is still here.

EDIT: it eventually worked.

finally managed to get accounts connected but it is saying that none of the games that i own in steam are detected.
It is only detecting games that i own in both Steam and GoG.

I own
Galactic Civilations III
FTL Faster than light advanced edition
Shadowrun returns
Breach and Clear Deadline
Project Zomboid
Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing
Two Worlds
Saints Row 2
To the Moon

But none are being detected as owned in my steam account??
Normally I would just wait till it gets fixed and sorted but as you have said limited time per game, this could change quite rapidly or could take a while. Some of these games have been purchased in the past few days whilst others have been in my steam account for months or so.
One would have thought they would have been detected.

Pickle1477: Question: when new games get added to GOG Connect, do we have to manually add them (if we already own them on Steam) or will our account automatically update?
I doubt it'll be an automatic update. That way it's something that forces you to check in every now and then.

WE COULDN'T REACH THE STEAM SERVICE RIGHT NOW.
Please try again later.

i have 1100~ games on steam .
What a nice move of GOG & it's partners! Congrats guys & thank you!

Now, I'm waiting for:
• Dishonored
• Skyrim
• Borderlands 2
• Crusader Kings II
• Deus Ex: Human Revolution
• Half-Life 2

...and I can finally fix the mistake I've done in the past & close my Steam account once and for all.
Obviously I'm joking, although for the first two there is a possibility because Beth happened. :P
What the hell is this!?!?!? I don't see any pigs flying or trees walking outside. Is this real life? Is it the apocalypse?
I own The Witness und VVVVVV on Steam, and everyone can see what games I own on my profile (I kept inventory only viewable for my friends, but this shouldn't make a difference), but yeah, so far GOG can't recognize that I own these two games on Steam. I guess I'll have to wait like everyone else here. Well, I hope it will work at the latest in 5 days time ;)

Me neither (for now), but will try again another time and hoping another developer join this program.

Thanks GOG!:)

Holy shit. I never expected to see the word "Steam" on the front page of Gog :o
Same here, no eligible game found even though I have at least 4 games that qualify and everything in Steam is set to public.
Nice move GOG!
I always get the message : "We couldn't reach the steam service right now" i think we should just wait a while and then try it again...
