UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

Getcomposted: Aha! I changed my Privacy settings to "Public", unticked the box that kept my Inventory private anyways, and now I'm getting a possible timeout error instead - "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again."

Progress! I was never so happy to see an error message. It means there's something there to go wrong. :)
How to change privacy settings to public, I haven't used steam in a while XD

My eligible games cannot be detected. Hope it'll be fixed soon.

Thanks for this, though!
Anybody knows if star wars battlefront 2 is on the list of gog connect since i see no list.

Konrad: Hey folks, if you're having trouble importing your games – try setting your Steam account settings to public, not private. This should help at least in some cases!
Has zero effect on the process.
Not working for me, even with public account :(

Arbiter_Libera: Yeah, same here. It's not detecting listed games I have but I guess they'll get around to it.
Yup, happening to me too, I could connect my account without issue, but says I have no eligible games on my account despite owning Xenonauts, Braid, Bit.Trip Runner and the Sherlock Holmes game on Steam.
not working for me, but its fine.. still applaud gog for doing this.. its exciting to see devs supporting what gog is doing, and its great to see it thriving.
Oh kurwa! kuds to you GOG, nobody saw this coming! Well done, these are true "good news"!
I don't use Steam (I have an account in which I spent a lot of hours in Civ games, not using it for some years though) but I see this as a great conquest.
Getting a no elegiable games error and I own "To The Moon" on Steam. Do I have to set my profile to public? I prefer to keep my profile private.

Edit: Now it's saying "oops, something went wrong" error.

question for GOG staff: since I own the elite founder's key for gal civ III, will GOG pick that up and automatically transfer all current and future DLC for that game to my GOG library? It keeps saying no elgible games found. I own the following on the list; vvvvv, braid, FTL, SR2, gal civ III, trine, bit.trip runner. what might be throwing it for a loop is family sharing (in my opinion)-still showing no games listed for this service

Fuck you GOG, you're way too awesome!!!
Aww yes, this is something I've wanted from gog for years. Sadly it seems to not work right now.
Unfortunately I've tried setting my Steam account to fully public but GOG Connect still isn't picking up any of the12 or so games it should be seeing.

It's a great idea and nice to see this kind of service being offered to customers for free but I think there may still be some issues to work out.
Very cool. Thank you GOG.com!
