Today, we're launching a new program called <span class="bold">GOG Connect</span>. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, <span class="bold">GOG Connect</span> gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

I have both TRON 2.0 and Spore (base game, no DLC) on Steam. Knowing that Spore's on here already and 2.0's coming soon, I was wondering: can I use GOG Connect in order to receive both games on here, if EA and Disney have agreed?
GOG Connect is a service that allows publishers to offer free copies of their games on GOG if someone already owns them on Steam if the publisher would like to take advantage of that capability to offer limited time offers of that nature to their customers. The only games that are available through Connect at any given point in time are whatever games the individual publishers decide to offer through this service. The games you have mentioned are not currently available through this service however any publisher on GOG is free to use the service in the future if they'd like to make such an offer available to their customers for a particular game.

I believe someone mentioned before that the Steam API does not have a way to query to find out what if any DLC is owned in a given account. Presuming that is indeed the case, the only way for GOG Connect to determine if someone owns any DLC on Steam is for Valve to add that functionality to Steam first.

Alright so apparently I have Teslegrad I can redeem but I can't seem to see it...?

What am I doing wrong?

Connect says that I don't have any games eligible, but I own Hotline Miami, Saint's Row 2, and others on Steam.

My Steam Profile is public, and I have tried the refresh button several times.

Not every game can be redeemed, rather I know there's a window when you can redeem them. When is a crap shoot.

I'm going to assume these are the ones you can currently redeem (copy/paste so it's all in uppercase), and Saints row isn't one of them. Hotline Miami though is.

I answered part of it. There's a window during which you can get your games redeemed in which Connect will work.

The second half, no clue. I'm not getting Teslagrad to redeem so we're in the same boat. Maybe a blue will come up and tell us what's up. Maybe a glitch with steam?

He *did* help you. What he said should have made clear to you that you're also expecting to get certain games which aren't offered anymore (Saints Row). You can't get that through GOG connect anymore.

Hotline Miami should work though.

No, he didn't help. His only actual suggestion was something I had tried several times before coming here.

What a shock, I went into the "Intro To Connect" looking for help from a GOG Admin, not random people who are not actually helping, if I wanted randoms making bad suggestions, I would have asked anywhere else.

Blues rarely respond to queries on the forums.
I would recommend contacting support if you want an official answer.

Well if you are looking for an answer from a gog staff member you are in the wrong place. They don't post a lot in this forum, it is mostly your so called random people posting here. If you want help from gog it would probaably be your best chance to open a support ticket.
