UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

starfleetbrat: I too seem to be having issues getting my Steam account to connect too. I've been trying for days and whenever I click the "Sign in through STEAM" button I can see "Connecting..." in my status bar at the bottom of my browser window, but that is all it does. if I leave it long enough, I will get an error page that says:

[i]This site can’t be reached

steam-sync.gog.com took too long to respond.

Try:
Reloading the page
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

I'm a bit disappointed. Was looking forward to syncing a few of my games with GOG but the deadline is almost up...
Same problem here since the offer begins

New deal from IndieGameStand is BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (DRM-Free/Steam, Windows/Mac). BTA for BIT.TRIP RUNNER (DRM-Free/Steam, Windows/Mac).
This works with GOG Connect and the first game, took a few hours to refresh/register. Both games on Steam and the original here for $2 seemed like a good deal.

Aleenik: Whenever I click "sign in through Steam", the page refreshes and the CONNECT YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT section flashes yellow. And that's it. The connection is never successful. I have tried on multiple browsers and multiple devices.
I have exactly the same issue

Rathori: I'm feeling kinda stupid, but I can't find the link to GOG Connect page in the site menus.
I know it's in the news and stuff and the moment, but I'd like an easier (and more obvious) way to check the page for new games than typing the page address by hand once it's not in the news anymore.
Feel free to use the GOG Connect tile on the main page, for now. It's right underneath the big spot that's constantly rotating :)

I just hope you guys don't forget about it :) Seems kinda weird there's no link for the page in site menu.
When I click "Sign in through Steam" button I get "404 Not Found" page.

-edit-
Now the page is just reloading...

Any word on if the connection will start to work before the deadline?
That's a good question. GOG should extend that time until they fix the connection issue.

You're both right, I'm being a bit naive on this. As much as I'd like publishers to start seeing Steam as an abusive monopoly, this isn't that happening.
Speaking of deals on current GOG Connect offerings, Playfield has Door Kickers on sale for $3.99. I just bought it and they gave me a 10% off coupon for others. It also gives me a future discount I'll likely never use fwiw, but I'll share it if anyone wants it.
For anybody that still wants to try, it should now work. I was able to connect now.

They might not be able to. Part of the deal with the developers and publishers is the time limit, and I doubt GOG can extend that limit without permission.
And I'm still timed out, not able to even give my credensials to log on steam account. And the clock's ticking.

Your account is likely private. Make your account not private. Worked for me.

You'd have the exact same problem if you tried to sell/trade cards.
