Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
i like this feature but I really would like an ability to DISconnect whenever i want
Are there any updates about this working / not working now? Or more delays?

My account seems to be linked fine (as far as the GOG page is concerned) but GOG is still telling me I have 0 games available when I have three from the initial list.
Thanks for the extra games on my account, GOG. Funnily enough though, this actually encourages me to buy some of those games on Steam so I have them on both platforms.

If you wanna gain customers, the reverse (get the game on Steam when you buy it on GOG) would actually encourage people to buy on your store and would smooth out the transition. I guess the issue is, some people who're not interested in Steam anyways would just trade away the steam key, as I don't think there's another format to give out Steam games now that OAuth is dead. Not sure if it would be prevalent enough to be a real problem for you.

Leroux: Yeah, I just wondered if there's a risk in sharing the account names, like if someone manages to hack the GOG account, if it would encourage them to try and go after my Steam account, too, or something. I mean I'm probably overreacting, since a lot of GOG members who use Steam use the same name for both services, and it's not as if I use the same passwords everywhere ...
If GOG gets hacked, hackers would get your Steam user name and your list of Steam games, that's it.

I believe it's easy to harvest the list of all Steam users anyways, so unless you consider your list of games as sensitive info, there's no risk.

If you're paranoid about your Steam account getting hacked by the way, make sure to set up Steam Guard, i.e. 2-factor authentification through email, or even the mobile authenticator.

Same here. The accounts are connected, I have changed the privacy settings, and still getting 0 games (it should be 1).
Having no luck getting this working. I log in to my GOG account, hit the Connect button, and all I see is a circular line thing going around and around forever in the rectangular box below where it says "Connect your accounts."
This is simply an unbelievable feature. Worked for me without any problems. Thanks, GOG!
It looks like gog is actively updating the faq. It answers questions that weren't previously answered (unless i missed them (unlikely)) :-)

Can't use mobile authenticator with my Windows phone, but Steam Guard is active already. Anyway, in the meantime I've already caved in and connected to GOG. Thanks for the helpful reply though! :)
Update: worked now. Maybe I just had to wait, maybe something was fixed somewhere.
Is there any chance for new games to be added? Thing is becoming an exact duplicate of the redeem code feature... Besides, what about DLC? Many steam account mergers report that DLCs of supported games didn't transfer, only their main game... Can a blue answer, please?
Hi

Please add

Desperados 1 + 2

Deadly Premonition - The Director's Cut

Sid Meier's Railroads!

Drakensang : The River of Time

The Dark Eye: Drakensang

Risen

Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood

BloodRayne

Divine Divinity

You are doing a great Job, GOG. Thanks

Slow down; it's been only two days.
Pretty sure they have at least another batch of games ready to add, or trickle in for the moment. The question is how often additions will happen after that (after maybe 1-2 months from now)

markrichardb: Very interesting. I advise a peek at the FAQ so everyone knows what they're getting into. GOG reserves the right to remove games from your GOG library if the corresponding games are removed from your Steam account for any reason. This is likely to curb the potential abuse that could arise from Steam refunds, but I'm not keen on the idea of the continued existence of some games on my GOG library being reliant on a Steam account. Don't get me wrong, it's free stuff and an overall positive to the consumer, its just not my style.
Then buy them on GOG.

How can you be so sure? Do you have any source for it? GOG Reclaim also started with a bang but no new games ever added since the first games. I hope you're right.
