UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Should of found Project Zomboid and Braid. No luck for me so far.

Changing my Steam profile Privacy settings to "Public" so that GOG could see what games I had worked for me. 3 games found yesterday, and Surgeon Simulator found just now.

BeebarbX: I gave GOG Connect a try, and it failed to properly detect the games in my Steam Library.

Doing a manual check, I have the following games in my Steam library that SHOULD be eligible for the offer.
Unreal Gold
Surgeon Simulator
Trine
VVVVVV
Broken Sword: Director's Cut

There may be some I'm missing, because I'm doing the check manually...

It's giving an Error:
"Not found in your Steam library"

BULLSHIT.

Can this be fixed?!
Have you changed your Profile Privacy setting to "Public"? Do that, and try refreshing the GOG Connect page. That's what worked for me. :)

I tried that, and it had no effect. :'(
So I added the games to my account finally. But I have Galactic Civ 3 Founder's Edition on Steam which includes all content past present and future. Is this content included in the move? It doesn't look like I own these on GOG according to the store pages and I'm unable to find out if I do.
Well then, it's just a waiting game, I'm afraid.
GOG has been swamped with everyone attempting to connect and get their free games. Just keep trying and keep the profiles public. Eventually, you'll get them.

I read in another thread that someone got their games after 24 hours, and people are reporting success after trying for a while.

I wouldn't suggest putting in a support ticket though, as probably everyone and their uncle has put them in.

Patience, it's a waiting game... :(
Amazing!

Thanks for this.
Worked perfectly, detected 4 games.
Thanks a lot for this GOG!
I suppose I'll have to wait until it magically decides to work... :'(
I did some additional checking, and apparently also Saints Row 2 is also eligible.

So, that makes 6 eligible games in my Steam library gone undetected.
I hope this gets fixed ASAP.

So far this hasn't been a positive experience...

Started working for me!
As always, many thanks GOG team.
Thanks GoG I knew you guys would work hard to iron out the bugs. Just added 9 games to my library! <3
Okay, so it just worked for me, all 6 games I expected got added to my library, and I'm downloading some of them now.
Just got it to work for me. You guys rock!

I wish it worked the other way too (I'm looking at you, Witcher 3!), as if Valve would ever put in the effort for something like that.

But seriously, this is cool, the participating devs are cool, you're cool. Keep it up!

If it worked the other way, people on Steam that don't know about GOG would come here and figure out that it's better, and Steam would lose customers. So they really have no incentive to do that.
This move does not make any sense to me considering how GOG is set up. I don't see what GOG or the publishers are getting out of this. I can only guess that GOG is going to undergo a major change in order for this to make sense.
