UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
After multiple attempts, was finally able to connect my Steam account and add the games. I am really thankful to the GOG team for coming up with this feature as I prefer my games to be on GOG and therefore bought certain games twice.

Cheers and keep up the good work!
Success at last, 11 eligible games added. Thanks a lot GOG. Hoping to see regional pricing in INR someday so that I can buy directly from GOG, instead of getting the game at Steam at cheaper price, and then waiting for the devs/publishers to allow GOG connect. Nice feature though.

Oh well, maybe it comes later... Have others gotten those three games "connected", and is it possible there are different kinds of Steam editions of some games, and GOG Connect recognizes only some? I've most probably gotten those three games as Steam keys from Humble Bundles.

I presume the Steam games don't have to be (ever) installed in order for GOG Connect to recognize them?
It doesn't matter if the game was from humble store (atleast for me). GOG Connect did recognize it.
And you didn't have to have it (ever) installed.

Got Saints Row 2 from last weeks humble bundle and I haven't installed it and I got my GOG version.
I don't understand why the 'connect promo' features games that are not in the connect program. Perhaps they've accidentally included games that will become part of the program in a future batch?

Lantea: Finally was able to connect my accounts but now I am getting "no eligible games found" even thought I have a few from the list on Steam, and I jusr set my profile to public so GOG could find them. Any suggestions why its not detecting them?
avatar
MaxFulvus: Restart to click on the refresh button ("actualiser" in French) until it works.
Should I just hit refresh until it detect it or better to try once or twice and wait an hour or so to try again. Refreshed like 10 times now still nothing.

thx for the help all :)
So what happens if the 5 days run out and we were not able to copy the games because of the connection issues, do we get screwed? :(

Lantea:
Try once or twice and wait an hour or so to try again.
Oh wow, just worked for me! :)
Two days now I keep trying and my Steam account is connected but keeps saying NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND.

I have at least 3 games that are eligible. Yes, my Steam profile is set to public. What the hell else do I have to do??
I wonder how many people won't get this working in the limited amount of time that these games are available.

It took a day for mine to connect, probably another day for it to recognize that I have valid games to import...

I can easily see people failing at this for 5 days.

If you reread the promo it says "starting with these and more", so I read that as the titles named are only part of the list.
I got Braid and To the Moon, among others, and they're not on that list.
12 games have been added from my Steam account. But I also had Witcher 2 and 3(+SP), but seems like only the first one is supported atm.

I own Trine Enchanted Edition & Shadowrun Returns on steam but both are listed as "unavailable" when I connect my steam account to gog. :(

Fairfox: Aaand you can't later get GOGie support to convert to gifts, right? Imma never play half of these and would rather just run a giveaway or something.
You cannot, the games just get added to your account here.
