UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
That's interesting...
But, you mean, I would have to create a steam account to redeem my steam key of FTL that I have in my humble account, to finally be able to redeem it on GOG ? (which interests me a lot, I'm not much interested in Humble store now) Funny for someone like me who don't want steam at all ;)
It's a bit sad that for now there isn't the same with humble, but maybe it's only a matter of time :)
But thanks for this possibility who will certainly please a lot of people ! :D

jamyskis: How odd. I have Bit.Trip Runner, Braid, the Breach & Clear games, Trine and VVVVV on Steam but not on GOG, but Connect is not picking them up on my Steam account.

Belovek: Yeah same happend to me, have some of the games on steam, but cant redeem any of them.
Yeah, same for me.
Perhaps wie need to wait a while till we can redeem them.
Nice unexpected feature.

Added 6 games from Steam. The only one it didn't read correctly from my Steam account is "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut"

Now if I could just get a copy of Braid outside of Desura. :)

EDIT: Got Van Helsing now. Great!

haydenaurion: I don't think it's unreasonable for at least a little more time. The "One Steam account only" thing isn't great either.

Luned: Proxymoron's post illustrates one reason why it's time-limited.
Well, a little more time for people having technical issues (some are already reporting issues) still wouldn't hurt.
Now I feel like I wasted too much money on DRM-free games.. thanks.

EDIT: Braid not found, excuse me?

This is pretty great, sure in an ideal world it would be longer periods of time but the fact it's even possible is really nice. Hope to see more titles come in the future.

SinForged: ...I love you guys. ...In a strictly heterosexual bro love kind of way. Not that there's anything wrong with that! (I wonder how many people will get the reference in this sentence?)
Seinfeld?

=P
Nice idea, so my steam account I created for all my bundle keys has now another purpose ;-) I'm one of the guys who often rebought many games I already had on Humble, because I prefer the installer and update informations here on gog.

I guess the limited time offer is because to avoid that people buy games very cheap on steam and then activate them here. I can understand that.

Just another idea to get more publishers on board, especially those who fear the abuse of dirty cheap steam sales, what about a general discount for games you already have on steam? I'm pretty sure more people would start to rebuy their games, which could bring some easy extra-cash for them.

Yes im sure they will fix this soon or later.. but dude... the HYPE!! xD
That sounds awesome. And where is Morrowind? :)
Doesn't recognize all the games I own from gog list even after refresh. Only have one game from the list I could get and gog doesn't recognize it.

Weird. "NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND" and I own Trine: Enchanted Edition, Saints Row 2, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut and probably some more of them on Steam.

Cant seem to get it working right XP I have multiple games on Steam but not GOG (Braid, VVVVVV, To the Moon, Breach and Clear, Two Worlds, Trine and Bit.Trip.Runner) that are not unlocking properly. :(

Well, so far it doesn't appear to work. I have about half of the games listed on Steam and after connecting accounts it doesn't recognize my Steam account having any of 'em.
