The owners of the sci-fi strategy title from Subset Games are in for a treat! Today Into the Breach receives a free update bringing new mechs, weapons, abilities, and challenges to the game.

What? Still not an owner of Into the Breach? Well, it’s the best moment to change that – the game will be available 33% off until 26th July 2022, 1 PM UTC.
Unexpected but all the more welcome.
Subset just can't miss. FTL and Into the Breach are two of my favorite indie games.
Subset Games are once again setting the bar for others - I can't wait to get back to Into the Breach universe with Advanced Edition content! Superb, thank you Subset Games!
I am so excited for this! Subset Games have released only gems which are always fun to play and return to.
One of the best games I've played last couple of years. Bonus content is welcome, thank you!
Yes!
Hopefully linux installer gets updated soon.
I just checked Subset's site last week hoping to see them working on something new. While I really liked ITB, it wasn't quite as good as FTL to me (still good, mind you!). This will have me play it more. But I want to see them do something new after two stellar hits.
That's awesome !!
Thanks for the free update, and I'm so curious to see their future games !
I wanted to add:

It's pretty shitty that mobile device [iOS/Android] versions are Netflix subscription only. We can hope it's only time-limited and not perpetual. Not that I play games on mobile devices (a universally shitty experience), but I do know people who prefer them.
Just made a quick check and there are plenty of changes.
The touch interface got completly revamped, it was fully playable but with some quirks but now it's good. It auto toggles between mouse and touch interface.
Much more smoother animations on some parts of the game, including Island selection etc.
Game grown 3x the size, from 170MB to 450MB.
Would (and still could) be an opportunity to finally release the soundtrack that's been available elsewhere for years here as well.
Great!! Awesome surprise :D

All of Ben Prunty's music is available for purchase directly on BandCamp, independently of the game.
