One of the very best games I played this year!!!

They are also doing a free game each day so tomorrow its another game.

Also they are giving $10 (and it actually is local so $10 = £10 for example) as a vouncher for their store. And anything brought from them either on sale with the voucher, or not on sale with the voucher so long as its over $14.99 (local eq) you will get another voucher for $10 (= £10.)

(Make sure to do each transaction seperate.)

I just grabbed Control for a tenner off the sale price and got Rune II for £7.99 (tenner off the sale price) and got another tenner off voucher.

I noticed so far a number of the older games are DRM-free, as modifying them would be a pain to add anything. So Super Meat Boy and other games are probably DRM free too

Most of the games I've bought there were DRM free at launch, even "big games" like Outer Worlds and Control. Some of them have had DRM added after the fact though, bizarrely, like Tetris Effect. I wouldn't bet on Epic Store being mostly DRM free forever.

$10 off sale is cool but I have most of what I want there anyway. I might get Heavy Rain even though I doubt I like it because the demo was lame.

Agreed. Older games you can't make the devs give an arse to put DRM in. But newer games, completely different.

You actually brought Rune 2! I tried It out briefly, easily the worst game of 2019, possibly even of the 201x’s! Dreadful graphics, rubbish controls, terrible AI, no story, no point, combat sucked, menus vastly over complicated unable to use, broken control in menus on PC. Did cover big industry crap points though: fake open world, endless repetition, “crafting”...
You my friend, have been robbed twice over, your cash and then your time wasted on it.
