Hello,
I recently bought "suckin grits on route 66" and dug my old Windows 98 machine out to play. I have the original "Redneck Rampage" already loaded as well as "Rides Again" and both play fine. I loaded the "sucking grits" by way of the native install as engineered and files are in the "Redneck Rampage" directory. As soon as I try to launch the game I get the rumtime error 200. I read up on the internet and found the patch "66patch". I'd like to be sure I'm doing the fix in the proper way.

My questions now are:
What is the detailed method to install the patch?
My machine doesn't have a WinZip app so what should I load to unzip the file?

I got the game to play! What a HOOT! Those old games take me back in time.

I had to load all resources to fix this by way of CD disk drive. For some reason the original Internet Explorer 6 kept giving script errors when trying to access internet info. I tried for awhile to fix this by disabling script and a few other things with no success. This really doesn't matter as I'm not interested in accessing Internet with this old machine.
To get back to the "66patch", I loaded WinZip 6.3.32bit from old version winzips to the disk and copied to the machine. I also downloaded the patch and placed on the desktop. I was able to extract the patch to the "Redneck Rampage" directory and selected "overwrite original file", Once complete the executable started the game with no issues.
Hope this can help anyone with same error 200 message.
