I should propably have tried with a full sentence: "I found my windproof jacket and went to the beach to look for echinoid fossils."

Admittedly, I didn't get a tan. In hindsight, I realize that it was WAY misleading when I claimed that I "went to the beach".

Especially to your fellow Danes who know what the weather is like here right now ;-)
I'm not even following the sale this time, but at one point I saw the 50% on HuniePop while visiting the front page and I thought... what the heck, and grabbed it. But otherwise no, enough insomnia sales for me.

I am also giving this sale a big fat pass. Partly because I have most of the games already, but I don't want to make purchasing decisions in a hurry, especially if I am not 100% sure that I don't already have some edition of the game being sold (as many GOG games don't get flagged as "owned", if you own another edition of the same game).

Also I am not constantly checking the GOG main page, so I miss most deals by default.

I think I wait for regular sales that last for days. Never say never though, if I catch e.g. Pillars of Eternity or the last X space game for a good price, I might jump in.
Isn't Denmark about 90% beach?
Same here. Got better things to do than stare passively at a computer screen waiting for a title that piques my interest, and I never wave the cash without having the time to do a little research first. No problemo, obviously I'm not the target demographic for this type of sale.
Add me to the club! This is the weakest GOG sale for me since i joined, partly because currently I don't have the time to check out the frontpage constantly or because barely anything from my wishlist (12 games all and all) appeared on the frontpage yet. I hoped Kerbal would be offered with a bigger discount but it looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer, although I'm sure it's worth every penny. Anyway, I'll reconsider it - after all, I could stop eating for some days to finance my first trip in space! As it is, I can't make any promises I'll stay virgin. :P
Good to know that I'm not the only one who hasn't bought something so far.

Imho the prices are too high for impulse buying.
There were a few times when I looked at the game page again to consider but then it was gone again.
If the price would have been one or two dollars less I probably wouldn't have thought about it for too long.
And of course most of it is regionally priced. -.-

I know I'm a pretty bad cheapskate, but come on, they couldn't manage better discounts than this? Maybe things will get better as it goes on, but a majority of them don't seem to be much better than your average weekly/staff pick sale. And no gift keys either unless you already own the game? I understand that they need to make money and there might be an issue with key reselling, but this sort of killed my desire to participate, as well as the inability to see the store page.

And the whole buy-ten-games-get-one-free thing is utterly, utterly ridiculous, in my opinion.

For me it's rather that my backlog is still to long. So even rather interesting offers are not that tempting.
I hope that I will get the chance to buy the Anno bundle. But I don't know if I will be able to get it (bad timing).

That comes on top of it, yes.
I'm still playing "The Banner Saga", "Blood Omen" and "The Bridge" for months now.
I already laid it out in my head. "Pff.. insomnia. Whatever. I get the games when I want them; when theres a sale I usually ha OHHH Grimrock II click - buy - mine - my first ins buy". I guess. If I did one last year I forgot. I know I was not quick enough for Keane :P
